Today, February 14th, is Valentine’s Day. A day we tell our special someone “I love you,” and sometimes even purchase flowers, candy, and valentines to show our love. In turn, making Valentine’s Day one of the major chocolate buying holidays, only second to Halloween.
But wait. Before you rush out to purchase your special someone chocolate, please stop to think about where the cocoa that produced that chocolate derived, and then make the conscious choice to purchase Fair Trade chocolate. This will then bring a sugar-induced smile to your valentine, and a better life to the workers that produce the cocoa.
